à hléns
à hléns shares an ugly grey building in the east corner of Stora Torget with Hemköp. It is a department store where you will find (on the second floor) crockery, kitchen equipment, linen, haberdashery, small appliances such as kettles and toasters, and a few shelves of stationery, hardware, and electricals. It's the only place I found shower curtains and shower-curtain rings in Uppsala.
Although conveniently located, à hléns appears to be expensive, at least for some things: exactly the same 3-way extension lead is 70 SEK here, 49 SEK in Clas Ohlson, and 2 for 29 SEK in Ikea.
On the first floor, à hléns has an entire floor of clothing, and the ground floor (shared with Hemköp) appears to be cosmetics and toiletries.
